說(shuō)到“舉例子”，illustration我們首先想到的是such as；for example這些。其實(shí)除此之外還有更多表達(dá)方式。但使用中一定要辨別兩點(diǎn)：一個(gè)是需不需要逗號(hào)；一個(gè)是后面接句子還是詞組（從句也可視為詞組的一種）

　　概括起來(lái)說(shuō)，跟“舉例”相關(guān)的關(guān)鍵詞有這幾個(gè)：

　　Mention

　　具體組合與用法如下：

1.以……為例：“Take …for example” 。（接詞組）

　　如Let’s take an extreme case forexample. …

2.……等等：“A, B, C,and so on.” 或“A, B, C,and etc..”（接詞組）

3.諸如此類：“…, and/or something like that.”或…and so forth；…and the like;…and/or something of that sort（接詞組）

　　She loves soppy love stories, old films, that sort of thing.

　　Therewill be a merry-go-round of teas, fetes, musical events and the like.

　　Healways had some resolves like this orsomething.

4.口語(yǔ)中也常用and/or whatever表示“諸如此類吧”

　　Ido not really want to be a poet, dramatist, or whatever.

5.例如、諸如：“ such (…)as X, Y and Z”（接詞組或從句）

6.例如、諸如、像……：like（接詞組）

7.以及其illustration他……：“X, Y, Z,and other …”（接詞組）

8.更不用說(shuō)……：“ not tomention …” 或“l(fā)etalone…”（接詞組或從句）

　　例如：In the 20th century alone, Japan was besieged by earthquake, typhoon, tsunami, fire, andvolcano, not to mention nuclear attack and terrorism.

9.（口語(yǔ)化）比如說(shuō)吧：“say，”（無(wú)限制）

　　例如：Let'slook at a different biological system, say, an acorn.

10.舉例說(shuō)明：to illustrate…（接詞組或從句）

11.“for example，”或“for instance，”（逗號(hào)后面為句子）

12.Case的用法：In a case of…在……的例子中；…is/are a case……就是一例

　　例如：Many professionals feel they deserve a higher pay, and nurses are a case in point.
